Park Policies

🕐 Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in time is 2:00 PM
Check-out time is 11:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability
Guests arriving after office hours should call ahead to make arrangements
Failure to vacate by check-out time may result in an additional night's charge

🐾 Pet Policy

Pets are welcome at Fort Pines — we love animals!
All pets must be kept on a leash at all times while outside
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately
Pets must not be left unattended outside or tied to trees/park structures
Pets that are aggressive or create a disturbance for other guests may be asked to leave
A maximum of 2 pets per site; please contact us for exceptions

🔇 Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Generators must be turned off during quiet hours
Music, TV, and conversation should be kept at a level that does not disturb neighboring sites
Children must be at their site or supervised during quiet hours
Repeat violations may result in removal from the park without a refund

🚗 Vehicles & Speed Limit

Speed limit throughout the park is 5 mph
Each site is allotted up to 2 vehicles. Additional vehicles are subject to an extra fee
Vehicles must be parked in designated areas only — not on the grass
Off-road vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, etc.) are not permitted to be operated within the park
Vehicles in disrepair or inoperable vehicles are not permitted

👥 Guests & Visitors

Registered guests are responsible for the behavior of all visitors
Day visitors must register at the office upon arrival
Visitors must leave the park by 10:00 PM
Overnight guests who are not registered will be charged an additional nightly rate
Maximum occupancy per site: 6 persons (contact us for groups)

🔥 Fires & Grilling

Fires are permitted only in designated fire rings at tent sites
Fires must be completely extinguished before leaving your site or going to sleep
Fires are subject to Louisiana burn ban regulations — check conditions before building a fire
Propane grills are permitted at all sites; charcoal grills must be used with a grill stand, not on the ground
Do not cut or damage any trees or vegetation in the park

🗑️ Trash & Cleanliness

Trash must be bagged and deposited in the designated dumpsters — not left at your site
Dumping of gray or black water anywhere other than the designated sewer hookup is strictly prohibited
Sites must be left in the same condition they were found
Excessive debris or trash left at a site may result in a cleaning fee

⚠️ General Rules

Firearms and fireworks are not permitted within the park
Illegal substances are not permitted on the premises
Management reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the premises for failure to comply with park rules
No refunds will be issued for early departures due to rule violations
Fort Pines is not responsible for theft, damage, or injury on the premises. Guests park and stay at their own risk
These policies are subject to change; guests will be notified of any updates

📋 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 48+ hours before arrival receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be charged one night's fee.

No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.

💳 Payment

Payment is collected at the time of booking through Campspot.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Monthly stays require a deposit equal to one month's rent before move-in.
