A family passion project turned beloved local truck. Here's how it all started.

K&K's Taco Spot started right where most great food stories begin โ at home, for family and friends who kept asking for more. What started as weekend cookouts and backyard gatherings eventually turned into a question: "Why aren't you selling this?"
So we took the leap. We got the truck, we hit the streets of Monticello, and we haven't looked back. Every taco, every burrito, and every agua fresca we serve is made with the same love and care that got us here in the first place.
We're not a chain. We're not a franchise. We're your neighbors โ and we're proud to bring real, handcrafted street food to Drew County.
We don't cook ahead and we don't sit on leftovers. Everything comes off the truck hot, fresh, and made to order.
K&K's was built on family recipes, family values, and the belief that good food brings people together.
No shortcuts. Fresh cilantro, real limes, hand-seasoned proteins โ you can taste the difference.
Monticello is our home. We're proud to serve our neighbors and to be part of the fabric of this town.
